The HZ20 High-Tin Aluminum Porous Sintered Copper Bearing is designed to deliver reliable performance in medium-to-low load engines and mechanical systems. Combining oil corrosion resistance, moderate fatigue strength, and excellent conformability, this bearing eliminates the need for surface electroplating while maintaining strong anti-seizure properties and embeddability. Its porous sintered copper structure, infused with high-tin aluminum alloy (AISn20Cu1), ensures optimal lubrication retention and wear resistance under continuous operation.

Application Feature

HZ20 boundary lubrication bushing is based on a composite material with 3 firmly bonded layers: steel as backing, intered bronze spherical powder as interlayer and modified POM as lining layer. lt has oil pocket for oil lubrication. lt fits well for slow speed. Heavy duty under normal temperature. lt can save cost and prolong working life when replacng normal bronze bushings. lt can lower frquency of adding oil. simplify replacement process when it is used on rolling mill. It is widely applied in chassis of automobile, forging machine, metallurgical machine and mining machine, construction machinery, hydropower, rolling mill etc.

Wear law

HZ20 material follows special wearing rule as shown in Fig.4, infinitesimal abrasion can occur in R phase when being applied with grease and then being installed. But after the R phase. the boundary lubrication condition will disappear and wearing will be exaggerated. If you do refill with oil. the product can be drastically held by non-remarkable wearing and its life will also be greatly extended. Therefore the advantage of HZ20 material is that oil shall be added with an
interval of R, which is remarkably longer that that of R other metal materials. It is approximately five times as long.

When HZ20 bush is installed with application of grease such as lithium-based or silicone grease. Its service life varies from the PV value under working condition. for instance. when PV value is about 2.5MPam/s. its service life will be about 200hr; when PV value is 0.1Mpa-m/s, its service life can be above I0,0oohr (see the table for details) The cycle R of lubrication maintenance of HZ20 bush is about the half of its service life. For instance, when PV=25Mpam/s. it is required to be oil-lubricated every 100hr.
